Stephen Bear: I don’t understand why I’m not liked

Stephen Bear cannot understand why people don’t like him.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star angered his fellow housemates during his time on the reality TV show with his antics, but Bear has hit back at his critics, saying he was picked on during his time on the programme.
Recalling one of his most frustrating moments on the show, Bear said: "No one was around. I threw a cup in frustration and it unfortunately hit a window. That was it. I’m not an angry person. I just show emotions. I’m human.
"I got started on that night. I walked away from the situation."
Bear has suffered a public backlash since leaving the show – but has blamed that situation on his housemates.
He told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "I honestly believe that because no one liked me in the house, no one likes me in the outside world, ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner Stephen Bear.
"I’ve won this whole competition and people still don’t want to like me. I think it’s pathetic. It seems to me that everyone doesn’t like me being the winner and I don’t know why. I should be celebrating, but people keep being horrible.
"The reason I was doing it was to show that as a person I’m actually all right. You saw all sides of me in the house. The fact I still won feels amazing.
"It should be celebrated – I am a nice person. I’m funny and charming and nice to be with.
"I was the only genuine one. I was the only person that showed genuine emotion and said what I believed in. That’s probably why I won. I was the underdog."
Despite the controversy he created on the show, Bear insisted he has no regrets.
He said: "I regret nothing. Not one thing. I thought I did amazing. I thought I was the most fun and polite housemate there ever was.
"All I did was have as much fun as possible. I made a negative environment into a positive one.
"If anyone thought I was horrible in the process then I’m sorry. I’m sorry if they didn’t have a good time. But I’ve had the time of my life."
