Kanye West urges for Frank Ocean radio support

Kanye West has called for Frank Ocean to get support from radio stations.
The 39-year-old rapper took to Twitter yesterday (23.08.16) advocate for his 28-year-old friend’s new album ‘Blonde’ to be played on the radio.
The ‘Gold Digger’ musician argued that radio has a duty to "support" artists like Frank, and that it should "empower" the artist.
He tweeted: "If anyone at radio really loves music … Come together and pick your favorite Frank Ocean song and play it at least 10 times a day.
"Every station across the globe. I Heart. Clear Channel local stations. Satellite. Every station. This will make the world better.
"Me and Drake both listen to Frank. Radio has to support amazing artists.
"Ask yourself Why did you love music in the first place and what can you do to add to the story.
"Power to the people. Power to the artist. Empower the artist and create a more inspired world. (sic)"
The support for Frank’s new album comes after the ‘Famous’ singer penned a poem about fast food chain McDonalds for Frank’s ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ zine that was released alongside his album.
The poem is called ‘The McDonald’s Man’ and includes lines such as: "McDonald’s man / McDonald’s man / The french fries had a plan / The french fries had a plan / The salad bar and the ketchup made a band / Cus the french fries had a plan…The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band / To overthrow the french fries plan / I always knew them french fries was evil, man…
"I knew the Diet Coke was jealous of the fries / I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries / Even the McRib was jealous of the fries / I could see it through his artificial meat eyes / And he only be there some of the time / Everybody was jealous of them french fries / Except for that one special guy / That smooth apple pie."
