Paul Hollywood City Bakes gets second series

‘Paul Hollywood City Bakes’ will return for a second series.
The ‘Great British Bake Off’ judge’s cooking show, which sees him travelling around the world, has been recommissioned following the success of the first installment.
He said of his newest venture: "I’m looking forward to returning to Food Network for what promises to be another great series of ‘Paul Hollywood City Bakes’. When I was asked if I wanted to visit another 10 cities around the world, tasting some of the finest bakes, it was a very easy yes."
The 50-year-old silver fox will travel to Oslo, Antwerp, Reykjavik, Palermo, Nicosia, Cape Town, Amman, Dublin, Los Angeles and San Francisco as he explores recipes that have shaped the baking heritage of each city.
But the show doesn’t just stop there as, in each episode, Paul will uncover family recipes, hotel delicacies and local favourites, before creating his own delicious City Bake.
The second series of the tummy-gurgling show will air on Food Network and will feature 10 60-minute episodes, 30 minutes longer than the first installment earlier this year.
Richard Farmbrough, CEO of Reef Television, said: "Working with Paul and Scripps Networks on the first series of ‘Paul Hollywood City Bakes’ was a joy and it’s great to see that the audience’s reaction mirrored our own. The extended episodes of the second series will see Paul going on a journey to discover even more hidden baking treasures in some of the world’s most picturesque cities."
