Paul Hollywood to front new car show

Paul Hollywood is set to front a new car show.
The ‘Great British Bake Off’ judge is rumoured to be taking over as the host of ‘Top Gear’ and, although he’s batted away speculation thus far, he has admitted he’s set to take control of a mystery motoring programme in the near future.
Asked what he’s got coming up over the next few months, he said: "I’m going to be doing more car programmes."
His ‘GBBO’ co-star Mary Berry added to NOW magazine: "I love doing shows that aren’t to do with baking. Paul has his cars and city breaks, but I’m not interested in travel."
The 50-year-old baking legend is certainly clued up when it comes to his motors as he launched his racing career at the Silverstone Circuit – racing Andre Howard in a Beechdean AMR Aston Martin Vantage GT4 -in 2015.
He also starred in an hour-long show ‘Licence to Thrill’ about the history of the Aston Martin for BBC in the same year.
Meanwhile, although many fans will be hoping the silver fox will take on a hosting gig for the next series of ‘Top Gear’, Paul admitted last year that he’d "never" ditch ‘GBBO’ in order to join the presenting line-up of the revamped show.
However, it seems he may need to re-evaluate his decision following the shock departure of Chris Evans earlier this year.
The radio presenter was signed to host the programme for three years in 2015 but bowed out in June after the final episode pulled in its lowest viewing figures since 2002.
It’s now believed his co-host Matt LeBlanc will front the programme alone for an eye-watering sum of £1 million.
