Jared Leto grateful for career’s ‘slow burn’

Jared Leto is grateful his career has had a "nice slow burn".
The ‘Kings and Queens’ hitmaker found fame as part of rock band 30 Seconds to Mars and whilst he is also an award-winning actor, he is glad his career has given him the "time and space to adjust to fame accordingly".
He told America’s GQ magazine: "My career has had a nice slow burn. You know? I never woke up one day and all of a sudden my life changed.
"And I’m grateful for that, because I think it has allowed me the time and space to adjust accordingly, to find out where and how I’m comfortable doing things. Fame has never been a target for me."
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old musician previously revealed the new 30 Seconds To Mars album is "very sexual".
He shared: "I think our last album was maybe a bridge between where we were and where we are now and it’s a very, very different album.
"I think that’s exciting. Every time you make an album, every time write a song, you have the ability to redefine, re-imagine and to experiment and take chances. I’m a big believer that it’s okay to let go of your past and explore new territory, so that’s what we’re doing."
Asked to describe the album in three words, he added: "It’s very sexual. That’s three syllables, not three words, but it’ll have to do."
