Cara Delevingne spent three hours in hair and make-up every day for Suicide Squad

Cara Delevingne spent three hours in the make-up chair every day for ‘Suicide Squad’.
The 23-year-old actress – who portrays June Moore, who becomes possessed by a witch, in the fantasy movie – has admitted preparing for her role was a "challenge" because she had to endure a painstakingly long process to get her hair and make-up done prior to shooting takes on set.
Speaking to OK! magazine about the difficulties she faced off set, she said: "It was three hours every day with the amount of tattoos and dirt. It was definitely a challenge."
However the supermodel – who has graced the catwalk for designer brands including Burberry, Chanel and Fendi – has admitted her frustration at being seated for hours helped her to get into her character as her on-screen alter ego Enchantress.
She explained: "It was easy to get into character once I had to sit through that – I definitely got a bit angry!"
However, the blonde beauty has admitted there was never a dull moment when she was on location as the team – comprised of the likes of Will Smith, Jai Courtney and Margot Robbie – got on so well.
Asked what the weirdest experience on set was, she said: "Standing outside in hair and make-up, having a normal day on set, and seeing Jai Courtney sprint out of his trailer completely naked running after David [Ayers, the director]. I’ve never seen him run so fast. We were just having a great time. It was the end of the shoot and we were just letting loose."
Although the team have now finished shooting the movie, Cara believes the DC Comic film has enabled her to build strong friendships, and she believes she’s made friends for life.
She explained: "You can really tell when we’re all together. We really just have the best time. I really feel like I’ve made the best dysfunctional family ever … We message constantly and it will never end, I’m sure."
