Jason Momoa to star in Crow remake

Jason Momoa will reportedly take the lead role in a remake of ‘The Crow’.
The ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ will portray the titular undead vigilante in the new version of the 1994 classic, which featured the late Brandon Lee – who was accidentally shot and killed during filming – in the lead role.
Jason recently hinted at the venture when he shared a picture on Instagram of he and the film’s director Corin Hardy celebrating a deal over pints of Guinness.
He captioned the post: "The only way to officially seal the deal as men Is a pint of black beauty. @guinness #sealthedeal #wearemarriednowf***er. #greatnewstocome. #dreamjob #cantwaittotelltheworld ALOHA ED ???????? (sic)"
Though the caption didn’t reveal what the project was, Mashable have now confirmed the former ‘Game of Thrones’ star is in talks to star in ‘The Crow’.
As with the original movie, the film will be based on the graphic novel by James O’Barr, but it was previously reported the remake will be more faithful to the original source.
The movie features a guy named Eric Draven who, along with his fiancee, is attacked and left for dead. He is then resurrected by a crow and sets out for revenge.
The remake has long been delayed and has previously seen a number of actors, including Luke Evans, Nicholas Hoult, Jack O’Connell and Jack Huston in line for the lead role.
Jason has a number of movies in the pipeline, including reprising his ‘Batman V Superman’ role of Aquaman in 2017’s ‘Justice League’ and the standalone ‘Aquaman’ movie, which is due for release in 2018.
And away from the comic book movie, his next film, ‘The Bad Batch’, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.
