Lukas Graham cancel tour dates citing frontman’s ‘extreme exhaustion’

Lukas Graham have cancelled their show in Japan and several dates in Australia due to frontman Lukas Forchhammer’s "extreme exhaustion".
The ‘7 Years’ hitmakers were due to perform at Liquid Room in Tokyo on Wednesday (10.08.16) and further dates in Melbourne and Sydney, but were forced to pull out so Lukas can get some rest.
A statement by Australian tour promoter Frontier read: "Lukas is suffering with extreme exhaustion and is unable to perform the shows."
The Danish pop group – also comprised of drummer Mark Falgren and bassist Magnus Larsson – have vowed to return to the two countries and make it up to their Australian and Japanese fans "in the future".
The band added: "We are really sorry to be missing you all this time but we look forward to coming back and seeing you all in the future."
The 27-year-old singer has been hinting at his fatigue on social media saying that he wished he could sleep in his own band opposed to a tour bus.
Taking to Twitter recently, he wrote: "Your own bed > Any other bed in the world (sic)"
And he also said that "sleep is the cure".
He added: "The medicin is in our water, our food and in our minds. Not in their pills … But at the end of it all, sleep is the cure (sic)"
The North American leg of their world tour begins on November 10 at The Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, Canada.
It’s not yet known when Lukas Graham will continue with the rest of their tour.
The tour company is offering refunds those who have purchased tickets for the cancelled shows.
