Will Smith: Willow should lie to me more

Will Smith wants his daughter to start lying to him more.
The ‘Focus’ star has always had a good relationship with his three children – Willow, 15, and Jaden, 18, with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and Trey, 23, from his marriage to Sheree Zampino – and growing up, he used a technique called the Circle of Safety, where his kids were encouraged to be completely honest and say how they feel but isn’t keen for it to continue now.
Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he quipped: "As a father, you do not want a circle of safety with a 15-year-old daughter. You do not. I’m like, ‘Baby, you need to start lying!’"
Meanwhile, Willow previously opened up about family life and revealed she feels as though her and her brother Jaden are "identical twins" because they are so similar.
She shared: "We’re like binary stars, like two parts of one thing. I know what he’s thinking at all times. And he knows what I’m thinking. We’re not identical twins, but it feels like that in a lot of ways …
"I was lost and super insecure [when I was figuring things out]. But then I stopped trying to find myself in these other inanimate objects, people, and ideas. I realised it isn’t about finding yourself – it’s about creating yourself."
And the ‘Whip My Hair’ hitmaker also opened up about her unique sense of style.
She said: "I have some cool shoes on and I wear crazy eyeliner, but it’s really all about emulating the colours you feel inside. A lot of clothes are cute, but after you buy the Yeezy shoes, after you get your hair done with a weave, you’re still the same person. I feel like more and more kids are starting to realise this."
