Megan McKenna’s family make The Only Way Is Essex debut

Megan McKenna’s family made their debut on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ on Wednesday night (27.07.16).
The 23-year-old beauty’s parents Tanya and Dave – who were joined by Megan’s sister Milly – offered their advice to the reality star during their first appearance on the ITVBe reality show after vicious rumours circulated among her co-stars that she had cheated on her boyfriend Pete Wicks.
Megan’s father Dave told his feisty daughter that she takes after him with her temper.
While sitting in their garden, he told Megan: "You take after me Megan on that point."
Whilst her mother suggested she needs to learn to deal with her outbursts "better".
She said: "Of course you’re gonna to defend yourself. "You just need to do it in a better way."
And Megan’s younger sibling reminded her that her enemies will do anything to wind her up.
She added: "They’re just trying to get a reaction from you."
The former ‘Ex on the Beach’ star then admitted her hunky boyfriend doesn’t like it when she gets mad.
She replied: "Pete doesn’t like it when I lose my nut."
However, her dad joked that Pete had let her off each time.
He quipped: "But you have done that a few times."
It comes after Megan was accused of allegedly "grinding" on a mystery man during a Marbella getaway, which led to things coming to a head at the Sugar Hut nightclub in Brentwood.
Mike Hassini got involved with his own take on the rumours, and her beau Pete came to her defence, leading to a huge blowout on the programme.
And on Wednesday night’s (27.07.16) episode, Pete had it out with Mike calling him a "B****".
He shouted: "You’re a b**** and that’s the end of it. Everybody knows you ain’t got no nuts."
While things aren’t perfect between Megan and Pete, her close pal Jasmine Walia recently insisted they will last.
She said: "Pete is such a lovely guy, I haven’t got a bad word to say about him. I think they will last, I don’t know if it’ll be years, but they’re going to have a good run at it. "
‘The Only Way Is Essex’ airs on Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
