Conrad Murray: Jacko was not left alone with my son

Conrad Murray’s partner wouldn’t allow Michael Jackson to be left alone with their son.
The late King of Pop’s former physician – who was jailed for four years for administering a fatal dose of prescription drugs to the singer in 2009 – claims the ‘Thriller’ singer became fixated with his baby boy, Che, and would keep a picture of him in his bedroom.
Speaking about when Michael asked him and his girlfriend Nicole Alverez to move next door, Murray told Daily Mail Australia: "I wanted to really scrutinise Michael and make sure he was safe because I had a young child, Che. When Michael met him, he loved the boy, he loved the picture.
"He kept the picture in his bedroom and moved it to the grand piano where he could look at it every day. He ran his fingers through his hair and said how beautiful his hair was."
When asked whether the singer was ever left alone with the baby, he replied: "No because the mother of my son would never allow that. Never."
Murray – who is about to release a tell-all book about his time working with Jackson – also said the discovery of pornography in Michael’s Neverland Ranch did not surprise him as this was the "ordinary state of affairs".
However, he said the dolls found were not used for pornographic reasons, as far as he was aware.
He said: "I saw the images and I said to myself, ‘Oh my goodness what are they making of this." This is a joke. If you walked into Michael’s bedroom it looked that way.
"There were lots of dolls and lots of pictures of children that his fans gave to him. Some dolls he brought himself, he collected the items. But as far as using them for pornographic uses I did not see that.
"This was an ordinary state of affairs. He lived like this. He never embraced the dolls or did anything usual."
Murray worked with Jackson – who had three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket – from 2006 until his 2009 death.
