Spencer Matthews’ ex-girlfriend is being lined-up to join this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star is reportedly in talks for a second stint in the Australian jungle later this year after he was kicked out last year for taking steroids but it seems he may not be so willing to head Down Under when he learns his former lover Lauren Hutton has been approached by bosses to take a slot on the forthcoming line-up.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Lauren has been approached for the jungle, and while she has tried to keep it under wraps, she’s slipped up and told a few people.
"She’s very excited about the offer. But no doubt if she and Spencer both end up in there, sparks will fly, especially when he inevitably starts flirting with other girls … He only lasted five minutes in camp before flirting with Vicky Pattison [last year]."
The 26-year-old hunk was predicted to be one of the front runners when he joined the ITV jungle-based show with Vicky and Ferne McCann late last year.
However, his stint was cut short a few days in when he was caught popping pills without consent from producers.
He said recently: "It was a pill every day and that’s just how I saw it. I was under the impression recreational use of steroids was fine, especially as they seem to be, very worryingly, readily available. I didn’t actually believe I was doing anything wrong at the time …
"When the reality came in that I was going home on the third day, I was just absolutely devastated. For someone that doesn’t get anxious or depressed, I felt pretty anxious and depressed. It was a bit of a dark time."
Spencer dated Lauren for just over a year but their romance hit the rocks in the summer of 2015 when it was claimed he’d cheated on her.
