The ‘Fifty Shades’ cast and crew are "safe and sound" following the Nice attack.
‘Fifty Shades Darker’ is currently in production in the south of France and had been filming 40 minutes from Nice on Thursday (14.07.16) – where a truck drove through a crowd celebrating Bastille Day, killing 84 people – but producer Dana Brunetti took to Facebook to reveal that everyone working on the movie has been accounted for.
He wrote: "Production has confirmed that everyone working on location in the south of France is okay. Everyone has been accounted for and is safe and sound.
"Thanks for everyone’s messages and concerns. Another sad day for France and the world."
E.L. James, who wrote the trilogy the movies are based on, took to Twitter to share her sadness at the atrocity in Nice.
She wrote: "Just heard about the horrendous events in Nice. Appalling. Thoughts are with the families of the dead and injured."
A 31-year-old French citizen, born in Tunisia, drove a lorry filled with weapons and hand grenades along a pavement in Nice for more than a mile, leaving 84 dead and countless more injured before he was shot dead by police.
