Mel B: We’ll always be Spice Girls

Mel B insists she, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton are "always" going to be Spice Girls.
Last week, the trio appeared in a new video – which was hosted on a site called Spice Girls GEM – thanking their fans for their loyal support since the release of their debut single ‘Wannabe’ 20 years ago, before hinting at new concerts.
And since the clip went live, Mel admitted fans have been confused as to whether the trio are calling themselves GEM or not.
She insisted: "GEM is the name of our website – we’re always going to be Spice Girls. I think people are getting it a bit confused with GEM."
The 41-year-old singer appeared visibly uncomfortable as she was asked whether or not remaining Spice Girls Victoria Beckham and Mel C would be a part of any gigs.
She dodged the question and said: "You know what? We wanted to say a big thank you to our fans and I was literally on a boat in Ibiza filming a thank you video for the fans and me, Geri and Emma ended up doing it and putting it out there.
"But what we decided was that we wanted to do it properly and put it out there. So we’re just figuring it out and it’s getting closer, closer and closer."
Asked directly if Victoria is out of the group, she added to ‘Access Hollywood Live’: "I think between the five of us, we’re always going to be the Spice Girls.
"But right now who you see saying thank you [in the video] are the ones going to be hurrying it all along."
Later in the interview, Mel was again pressed on whether the others will be back, but simply teased they have some "interesting" things on the way.
She said: "You know what? All will be revealed very, very soon.
"We have a few interesting things that we will be sharing with everybody, or the people that want to know. It’s gonna be very interesting."
