The ‘Ice Box’ singer has praised his "beautiful and talented" former partner – with whom he has son Megaa, 23 months, and daughter A’mei, four months – and vowed to remain friends with her, despite ending their long-term relationship.
He wrote on Instagram: "The beautiful and talented mother of my children for whom I hold the highest regard and respect, Apryl Jones, and I have mutually decided to end our relationship.

Apryl also confirmed the split on Twitter.

After the birth of their first child, Omarian declared he would "forever belong" to Apryl.
Uploading a snap of himself holding the newborn at the time, Omarion wrote: "World. Allow me to introduce. MEGAA OMARI GRANDBERRY. He is 7 pounds. 4oz & 20 inches long. My son I’ve been waiting on you. God is the realist!! I witnessed a miracle.
"My soul mate @aprylsjones is so strong! Not only did she have a un medicated birth (no drugs) she did it at home. Naturally. Just like my mom had me. I love you. thank you for having my legacy. I’ll forever belong to you & you will forever be tied to me (sic)."
