Andy West has got engaged after his boyfriend proposed to him during a surprise visit to the ‘Big Brother’ house.
The former BBC journalist has spent the past 27 days away from his lover Ed in the hope of winning the current series of the show, but his spirits were lifted in Sunday night’s (03.07.16) episode when the hunk entered the infamous abode as part of a new shock dinner task.
The 34-year-old star broke down in tears as he saw his boyfriend walk into the house and say: "Hello my handsome beautiful gorgeous man," before he dropped down on one knee and popped the question with a ring.
Amid tears, Andy told his partner, "I can’t live without you."
The proposal seemingly came at the right time as Andy was starting to struggle with the confinement after a number of verbal wars with housemate Hughie Maughan.
The Irish youth worker has repeatedly slammed the former reporter after taking an apparent dislike to him.
Meanwhile, things are likely to get even more outrageous in the house as four new arrivals have been announced.
Andy will once again be reunited with his boyfriend Ed, Hughie is likely to get a shock as his mother is due to enter the house, Emma Jensen is about to be reunited with her boyfriend Josh and Laura Carter is likely to be surprised as her long lost love and male model Bernard enters the house.
