Amelle Berrabah ghostwrites for pop stars

Amelle Berrabah ghostwrites for a few mega pop stars.
The former Sugababes singer has admitted she has a handful of clients she secretly pens tracks for on a regular basis but likes to keep her identity a secret from them because she’s concerned they won’t want her stuff or take her seriously when they realise she comes from a girl group.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I don’t really tell people who I work with, I have four aliases because being from a girl band it’s all about politics. If you like the song then take it, don’t do it because I’m from a girl band, so I kind of go under the radar it’s great for business. So most people won’t even know I’ve written the song, it’s all ghost writing. I’ve got one at the moment that’s still in the charts."
Despite a few of her tracks creeping their way into the charts, the 32-year-old singer is adamant she doesn’t feel jealous of their success because she just enjoys writing.
She said: "I’ve always loved song writing, it’s almost a burden on my brain if I don’t get it out. I sometime wake up and I’m like ‘right I just got to get this out now’ so it’s a blessing. I love writing for people, I’m not about having attention on me. I don’t really care, and I’m not one of those people who craves attention in life I’d rather just chill at home."
