Ruth Langsford has been to a sex toy party.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter’s husband Eamonn Holmes was left speechless on the show on Friday (01.07.16) when he learnt the blonde beauty had attended a raunchy bash.
She said: "It’s a laugh, we just have a laugh with it. You say did I ever go to one, I did.
"It was a hen party, it’s fun, hilarious, this is fun, the wine was out, and there would be somebody selling this stuff."
And Eamonn asked: "And there was no embarrassment?"
To which the 56-year-old star, who married her spouse in 2010, explained: "A little bit. But it was girls together."
The couple struck up the uncomfortable conversation when they were interviewing actress Angela Griffin about her new TV show ‘Brief Encounters’, which documents the rise of Ann Summers’ sex toy parties during the 1980s, and Eamonn believes his Irish routes are responsible for his lack of knowledge when it comes to the heart-racing gatherings.
He said: "I can’t emphasise enough how different it was 35 years ago, particularly somewhere like Ireland. I’m not saying it’s the same now at all, there have been great strides into something or another in that time."
