Prince recorded keys on Mobb Deep and Snoop Dogg track

Prince secretly recorded keys on Mobb Deep’s song ‘Thou Shall Not Kill’ featuring Snoop Dogg.
Havoc of the hip hop duo has revealed the late music legend – who tragically passed away in April at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota – offered a helping hand on the track from the ‘Infamous Archives’ LP and did it out the kindness of his heart and didn’t expect anything in return.
Havoc – whose real name is Kejuan Muchita – asked Prince for advice on the beat and the musical genius simply sat at a keyboard and performed in front of them, and the rest is history.
He told the ‘Drink Champs’ podcast: "I was making the beat, and then I was like ‘Holy sh*t Prince.’ Then, I was like ‘Is there anything I need to do to the beat?’ He was like ‘Hold on’ and then he got on the keyboard and just started … He was that cool."
Havoc – who is joined by Prodigy in the duo – came to get into the studio with the ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker when he was working at New York’s Electric Lady Studios and Prince stumbled in.
Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg has just dropped his new album ‘Coolaid’ and deemed himself a "legend" in the process.
Alongside a link to the new record, he wrote on Twitter: "Legend … Get ur curpz out !! #COOLAID out now!! (sic)"
The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper’s 14th studio LP features collaborations with the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Swizz Beats.
