Spielberg and Jackson working on secret project

Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are working together on a secret project.
Whilst doing the press rounds for his latest film, an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s ‘The BFG’, the ‘Jaws’ filmmaker revealed the pair are collaborating on a film for his Amblin Partners company.
Spielberg, 69, told New Zealand Herald’s Time Out magazine: "Peter was so busy with ‘The Hobbit’ that it took him away from ‘Tintin’ and he’s doing another film for my company now. It’s a secret, nobody knows about it. Then after that he’ll do ‘Tintin’."
There is a lot of speculation as to what the joint project might be, with some speculating that after the mammoth ‘Hobbit’ trilogy Jackson may want to focus on a smaller project akin to his breakthrough ‘Heavenly Creatures’, and others suggesting it might be his rumoured remake of the 1955 ‘The Dam Busters’ movie.
Jackson is said to be interested in making a film based on the book ‘As Nature Made Him: The Boy Who Was Raised as a Girl’, which tells the true story of Canadian man David Reimer who was raised a female after a botched circumcision when he was aged just seven months.
Jackson’s team wouldn’t comment on the mysterious new film other than to say Jackson would be happy to talk about the project "at the right time".
However, Spielberg’s comments suggest it could be a while before Jackson’s follow up to his own 2011 ‘The Adventures Of Tintin’ movie is released.
