Dani Harmer has given birth to a baby girl.
The 27-year-old actress and her boyfriend Simon Brough, who have been dating just over a year, welcomed their little girl into the world on Tuesday (28.06.16) and have reportedly given her the sweet moniker Avarie-Belle Betsy Brough.
Dani’s mother Jill Harmer confirmed the new arrival to HELLO! magazine, saying: "Mother and baby are doing well – the baby is beautiful like her mother!"
The brunette beauty announced she was pregnant with her first child earlier this year and admitted, although she was nervous, she couldn’t wait to become a mother.
She said at the time: "I absolutely can’t wait. I’m also really nervous. But I guess I just have to take each day as it comes. I’ve always wanted to be a mum.
"We’re over the moon. I still wake up every morning and go, ‘I’m pregnant.’ It was amazing seeing the scan.
"I find the whole thing absolutely fascinating. What an amazing, clever thing to be going on inside my body."
And Dani, who shot to fame playing bossy Tracy Beaker on CBBC, is determined to be a "fun mum" and share a similar bond with her child as she does with her own mother.
She said: "I want to be a fun mum. My mum was really fun and she was a friend as well as a mum. That’s what I’d like to have with my child. I know I can tell my mum anything."
