Mel B has ‘plans’ for a Spice Girls reunion next year

Mel B has "plans" for a Spice Girls reunion next year.
The 41-year-old singer – who made up one of the five members of the iconic girl band – has revealed a get together with Emma Bunton, Mel C, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner to mark their 20th anniversary this year, will have to be put on hold for another 12 months.
Speaking on ‘Live with Kelly’ about re-forming the band to commemorate two decades at the helm of the music industry, Mel B – who was nicknamed Scary Spice in the group – said: "This is the thing. It is our 20th anniversary this year and this would be the perfect year, but places get booked out so what we’ll hopefully do is plan to do something to celebrate next year.
"But it’s something that we want to do and it will be nice to celebrate and give something back to the fans.
"I’m not getting any younger."
Meanwhile, the three remaining members of the girl group are reportedly in talks for a three-part TV series to follow them on the road of their big 20th anniversary celebration.
Speaking previously, a source said: "The Spice Girls comeback is the big story in pop so it’s no wonder the girls want to maximise their popularity.
"There is certainly a big audience for it. BBC, ITV and Sky will no doubt be fighting it out for the rights. The girls are always good value, so there will be plenty of material."
However, it is thought the trio won’t be joined by their bandmates Victoria Beckham and Mel C as they film footage from the recording studio and relive memories from the 90s, and it is rumoured the pair had never planned for a comeback.
