Kate Moss won’t move into acting after Ad Fab

Kate Moss doesn’t want to be an actress.
The 42-year-old supermodel plays herself in ‘Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie’ and seriously impressed Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley – who portray Edina ‘Eddie’ Monsoon and Patsy Stone respectively – but Jennifer has brushed off the idea that she could embark on a Hollywood career.
Speaking about how professional Kate was on set, Jennifer, 57, said: "She turned up on time, adorable, easy, professional. She’s realised if you’re not professional you wouldn’t last two seconds, certainly not in the modelling industry. She’s not where she is because of luck, she’s there because she works really hard and she’s good at it. She’s good at acting actually, too, I said that to her but she went, ‘Na na na’. I don’t think she wants that, I don’t think she needs that. She doesn’t need a new career."
The movie sees PR Eddie and Patsy go on the run to the French Riviera after accidentally killing their client Kate by pushing her into the River Thames in London.
Joanna, 70, thinks Kate has a presence like 50s Hollywood pinup Marilyn Monroe.
Joanna said: "And she was quite extraordinary. When the cameras came on she did that Marilyn Monroe thing of just turning on Kate Moss. You can’t take your eyes off her."
Kate is one of a number of stars to have cameos in the movie including Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, Graham Norton, Cara Delevingne, Rebel Wilson and newsreader Jeremy Paxman.
But one star that didn’t get an invite was Victoria Beckham, because Joanna didn’t think the fashion designer would say yes.
Joanna told The Sun newspaper: "I didn’t even ask Victoria Beckham – I just thought she wouldn’t do it.
"I also think the people who took part have a huge sense of humour."
