Zara Tindall doesn’t make 2016 Olympic games

Zara Tindall won’t represent Great Britain in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
The 35-year-old royal – the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth – may have walked away with silver at the 2012 games in London but her chances of going one better this time around have been scuppered as she hasn’t made the shortlist for the country’s eventing team.
A spokesperson for the rider told the Telegraph newspaper: "Like anybody else, Zara really wanted to represent her country, but I’m sure she also wanted to make sure that the best team goes to Rio."
However, although the blonde beauty didn’t make the cut, three of her 2012 teammates – Tina Cook, William Fox-Pitt and Nicola Wilson – still have the sporting competition in their sights as they have made the list.
Zara – who welcomed her first child Mia into the world with her husband Mike Tindall two years ago – hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to horse events recently as she was forced to miss most of the season because her hose High Kingdom had suffered an injury.
She managed to get back in the saddle in March when she took part in the Lincolnshire Horse Trials, before competing in the Badminton Horse Trials in May, which gave her the Olympic qualification mark.
Meanwhile, Zara is no doubt devastated she hasn’t made selection as she previously expressed her desire to swipe gold at the Rio games.
