Prince William supports England in Euros

Britain’s Prince William watched England play in the UEFA European Championship on Monday night (20.06.16).
The 33-year-old royal – the grandson of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – supported his home country as they played against Slovakia in the popular sporting event in Saint Etienne, France, but was left disappointed when both teams failed to score a single goal throughout the game.
The flame-haired hunk is expected to wake up in France before travelling back to London early on Tuesday morning (21.06.16) to celebrate his 34th birthday "privately" with his wife Duchess Catherine and their two children Prince George, two, and Princess Charlotte, 13 months.
William – who has been the President of the Football Association (FA) for the past 10 years – got behind his team prior to the game kicking off by singing Britain’s national anthem ‘God Save the Queen’ with other supporters.
Meanwhile, just before the tournament kicked off on June 10, William sent the England team a video in which he said the whole "nation is behind" them throughout the games.
Addressing the manager Roy Hodgson, William said: "Roy, I want to wish you, your staff and the England squad all the very best for the European Championship final in France.
"I know that you have done everything possible to prepare in the right way… rest assured everyone back home will be cheering England on whenever you play.
"We’re all looking forward to watching some great football over the coming weeks. An exciting performance from this team will inspire the next generation of England players… good luck to you all."
