Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge want another dog.
The royal couple – who have children Prince George, two, and 13-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte – have reportedly been looking into breeds in order to find the perfect pup to befriend their beloved cocker spaniel Lupo.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "The couple have been researching breeds and have been in touch with an Italian company which specialises in breeding bolonka zwetna puppies. Bolonka zwetnas are a small Russian variant of the bichon breed and make adorable lapdogs."
Meanwhile, it seems the duke and duchess are on a mission to grow their fur family as they recently bought a hamster.
Duchess Catherine, 34, added the small rodent named Marvin to their family and the fluffy creature has already proved a huge hit with her children George and Charlotte.
While attending the opening of the Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace in greater London in April, the duchess told children from St John the Baptist Junior School in Hampton Wick about the new hamster she’s acquired.
A young girl named Darcey explained at the time: "She [Catherine] said she had a hamster, and Charlotte really likes it because the whiskers always tickle her face."
The brunette beauty – who was formerly known as Kate Middleton before she wed William in 2011 – told the youngsters that Marvin is kept at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, competing for attention with Lupo.
