Joey Essex thinks James ‘Arg’ Argent is a "nuisance."
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star has told Lydia Bright to stay away from her ex-boyfriend, who she dumped almost three months ago after she caught him doing cocaine, because he will never change his immature ways.
He explained to Star magazine: "Personally, I don’t think she [Lydia] should take him back. I’ve told her that as well. Why should she? He’s a nuisance!
"He doesn’t stop making mistakes, does he? But he’s a nice kid. He’s my mate and I like him but if a girl made that many mistakes with me, she’d get dumped."
However, the 26-year-old star has other ideas as he believes he can win the blonde beauty, who he has dated on and off since school, back for good if he loses weight.
He said recently: "Me and Lydia are on a bit of a break at the moment. Of course I’m hoping that we’ll get back together in the near future."
But it seems he’ll have to work a little harder than that as Lydia is feeling better and stronger now Arg – who was suspended from ‘The Only Way is Essex’ in November 2014 for cocaine use and subsequently spent a month in rehab – is out of her life.
She said recently: "Me and James actually broke up so nearly seven weeks ago, which was a tough decision to make but I felt like I didn’t really have a choice. But I’m feeling a lot stronger, a lot happier now."
