Joey Essex doesn’t want a girlfriend.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star – who previously dated Sam Faiers – has admitted he’s romancing a handful of girls at the moment but doesn’t really feel the need to settle down anytime soon.
Speaking to Star magazine, he said: "I’m seeing a few different people … I’ve decided I don’t really feel like I want a girlfriend at the moment. I don’t see the point."
And the 25-year-old hunk is adamant he’d never rely on a dating site like Tinder – a mobile app that connects people in the same area – because it’s "pointless."
He explained: "Wouldn’t people look at my profile just because I’m Joey Essex? It could be like ‘Catfish’. It could be a man!"
Meanwhile, Joey believes he meets a lot of his dates during a night out but is almost certain the girls he meets in a club won’t end up being his girlfriend in the longterm.
He said: "I meet girls when I’m out partying. But I don’t ever fall for a girl when I’m out.
"I always take their numbers but I don’t really like them. I think when you meet girls when they’re out, they’re out for one reason. They’re on one. You normally meet a nice girl when you’re just somewhere relaxing."
