Brooklyn Beckham lands V Festival job

Brooklyn Beckham is set to be an official photographer for V Festival.
The 17-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is a keen photographer and his snaps have impressed festival bosses so much that they invited him to take pictures for them at this year’s event in August.
A source told Metro newspaper: "Organisers have been so impressed with Brooklyn’s Instagram shots they decided to give him a call.
"They want to put him down in the pit in front of the main stage so he can get close to Rihanna and Justin Bieber and give the world his own take on their performances."
Brooklyn landed his first big photography gig earlier this year when he was chosen to shoot Burberry’s new fragrance campaign.
Taking to his Instagram account the day before the shoot, Brooklyn uploaded a black-and-white photograph of him holding a camera, alongside the caption: "Excited to photograph the @Burberry campaign. Watch it live on their Instagram & Snapchat #THISISBRIT (sic)."
Brooklyn was no doubt thrilled when he found out he’d landed the high-profile shoot as his father David admitted last year that he’d turned down offers to carve out a film career in Hollywood in order to follow his dreams of photography.
He said: "He actually loves photography. That is one of his passions. I have always said to my children, as long as they have a passion for something, we will encourage it."
And despite a backlash over his lack of experience, Brooklyn’s godfather Elton John insisted it was a really clever idea because it achieved so much publicity.
He explained: "How much publicity are Burberry getting out of it? That’s the whole point. It’s like when you do a runway show and you send all the great stuff down that doesn’t make it to the shops but it gets in the papers – it’s the publicity."
