Calvin Harris uncomfortable with ‘hoopla’ surrounding Taylor Swift romance

Calvin Harris dumped Taylor Swift because he wasn’t comfortable with "the hoopla" surrounding their relationship.
Although Calvin is one of the most famous DJ’s in the world and previously dated popstar Rita Ora, he reportedly could not cope with the attention that came with dating Taylor and decided to end their 15-month relationship last week.
A source told PEOPLE: "He’s super chill and very quiet. He just doesn’t like the hoopla … with the squad and all of that. He doesn’t like to have cameras in his face all the time. He’s a private guy.
"He very much admires her as a person and what she has been able to do with her career. This is what drew him to her in the first place. They are still friendly."
It was previously claimed that Calvin, 32, broke up with Taylor, 26, because he was intimidated by her success but sources close to him have denied this.
An insider said: "He has global success. Why would he be intimidated by anyone?"
And although Calvin "adored" the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker, who he was introduced to by mutual pal Ellie Goulding at the 2015 Brit Awards, his future plans didn’t line up with hers and he didn’t want the couple to live together yet.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "He was reluctant to make a complete commitment when his life is so crazy… He absolutely adored their time together, but being a devoted boyfriend is difficult to fit in with being the biggest DJ on the planet. He also loved having his own home in Los Angeles and didn’t want to move in full time together. He loved his own space."
