Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh to return as X Factor judges

Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh have been confirmed as this year’s ‘The X Factor’ judges.
The rock diva, the pop sensation and the music manager – who have all sat on the panel in the past – have agreed to join the singing show alongside boss Simon Cowell when the programme returns for another series later this year.
Speaking of her return, Sharon, 63 – who appeared on the panel from 2004 until 2007 and then again in 2013 – said: "I’m overjoyed about going back to ‘The X Factor’, sitting with Lou Lou, gorgeous Nicole and naughty Simon."
Nicole, 37 – who proved a popular judge when she appeared on the show in 2012 and 2013 – added: "I can’t wait to be back in the UK and on the show with the best judges sitting alongside me on the panel."
But the Pussycat Dolls singer will no doubt be feeling the pressure this time around as she’ll be hoping to secure another victory after her act James Arthur won in 2012.
She added: "I’m excited about discovering, mentoring and winning with an exciting new act this year. And having had winning contestants in the past, Simon knows I will do it."
And Louis, 63, is thrilled Simon has decided to bring him back after he was dropped and replaced with DJ Nick Grimshaw last year following 11 years on the show.
He said: "He’d say otherwise but I knew Simon missed me last year! I’m delighted to be back on the panel especially beside my two favourite female judges."
Meanwhile, the trio aren’t the only familiar faces to grace the show this year as Dermot O’Leary has also been persuaded to reclaim his hosting gig following the departure of Caroline Flack and Olly Murs – who were brought in as his replacement last year – in January.
