Mariah Carey has hinted that her wedding will be an intimate affair.
The 46-year-old singer is currently planning her nuptials to billionaire businessman James Packer but despite their massive combined wealth, Mariah isn’t planning a lavish celebration.
Speaking on ‘Live! with Kelly’, she said: "I can’t really talk about it right now because everything is still being figured out but I never said it was gonna be a big wedding."
Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that Mariah will air her wedding to James on her new E! reality TV series ‘Mariah’s World’.
The ‘Hero’ hitmaker – who got engaged to the billionaire 48-year-old businessman in January – has been keeping details of their upcoming nuptials secret, but the producers of the show are keen for them to include their ceremony on the eight-part docuseries.
A source said: "Her team wants it on the show. Her manager is a reality TV producer and got her the deal."
Mariah – who has five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon – is known for her diva personality and according to the insider her fiancé has no choice but to "go along with" the public-viewing of their special day.
The source added: "He does what Mariah wants."
While It was previously claimed James didn’t want to be included in ‘Mariah’s World’, the singer insists he wasn’t bothered with being filmed whilst he visited Mariah in Denmark for her ‘Sweet Sweet Fantasy’ world tour.
She said: "My fiancé James Packer came to visit me in Denmark. And he had no problem being on camera for the show with me…and we had a great time."
