Olly Alexander ‘obsessed with Matt Healy’

Olly Alexander couldn’t stop shaking when he met Matt Healy.
The Years & Years frontman is obsessed with The 1975’s lead singer and admitted he could not hide his excitement when the pair bumped into each other at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend at Powderham Castle in Exeter on Sunday (29.05.16).
He told BANG Showbiz: "I am obsessed with Matt Healy. I met him for the first time today. It was a big moment for me. I was shaking. He just gave me a hug and introduced me to his dog so I met his dog. I’m pretty much in there."
Olly also revealed the band are currently working on new music and he would love to collaborate with Rihanna.
When asked about new material, he said: "You never know. We’ve started thinking about it we’ve got a couple of ideas. We’d love to get something out before the end of the year.
"I want to do a song with Rihanna we need to make that work."
Meanwhile, Take That thrilled revellers when they joined Sigma on stage at the festival on Saturday (28.05.16).
The drum and bass duo of Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie teamed up with the ‘Back For Good’ hitmakers – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – to wow the crowds with a performance of their brand new track ‘Cry’.
Welcoming Take That onto the stage, they said: "You know this one right? You know we’ve got to do things big? Make some noise for Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen."
During their electric set, Sigma was also joined by their special guest Paloma Faith for their hit track ‘Changes’.
Earlier on in the day, Nick Jonas opened the main stage by performing a selection of his biggest hits including ‘Levels’, ‘Close’ and ‘Jealous’.
Other highlights included Meghan Trainor, who brought a touch of glamour to Devon, strutting up and down the stage in a black glitter gown.
And Mumford and Sons closed the evening, performing to the biggest crowd of the night.
