Prince Charles delights fans in Malmesbury Abbey

Britain’s Prince Charles delighted members of the public when he visited Malmesbury Abbey in England on the weekend.
The 67-year-old royal was in the audience at a concert in the market town and greeted residents outside the abbey, where he saw the English Chamber Orchestra perform.
Ellie Newton, 23, met the royal outside the abbey and said he "made a bee-line" to come and say hello when he spotted her with her six-week-old baby, Albert William Newton.
She told the Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard: "He came over and asked Albert’s name and age. You could see when I said his name was Albert his face lit up.
"It was quite amazing, he’s not like what you’d expect."
The Prince made a special effort to greet fans and chatted away to all the children who had patiently waited outside the abbey to catch a glimpse of the royal, despite the rain.
Prince Charles attended the music event in support of Music in Country Churches, a charitable trust set up in 1989, that arranges weekends of music in rural churches of exceptional beauty.
Funds raised go back into the churches to help them with repair, maintenance and restoration costs.
Elsewhere, the Prince threw a garden party in Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday (17.05.16) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Prince’s Trust and invited a host of celebrities – including Fearne Cotton and Pixie Lott – as he marked four decades since he launched the youth organisation.
Dame Joan Collins, 82, presented the heir-to-the-throne with a special gift – a portrait of the prince made up of the images of those the trust has helped – to mark the anniversary.
She said: "It was my privilege to be able to present it. His innovation not only saw the creation of the charity 40 years ago but continues to drive the work it does today."
Sir Ben Kingsley also met with the royal – the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – and praised him on the remarkable work he’s managed to achieve over 40 years.
