Duncan Jones teases Warcraft sequel

Duncan Jones has teased a sequel to ‘Warcraft’.
The filmmaker’s latest project is scheduled for release next month but he’s already insisted he would "love" to make a second movie, although nothing is set in stone.
He said: "This (movie) is an introduction, so we are keeping it simple at this stage but if things go well and people like ‘Warcraft’ one of the things that we would love to do in a follow-up would be to kind of explode magic, to make it suddenly be everywhere, with everyone having access to it. Show how it really kind of screws the system. But that’s for the future."
Jones also said he was inspired by movies ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘Absolute Beginners’ – which his famous father David Bowie starred in back in 1986 – to build a real city for ‘Warcraft’.
The music icon – who lost his battle with cancer in December – took his son with him to work and the 44-year-old director says he was in awe of their incredible sets as child.
Speaking about bringing the fantasy locations to life, he told Empire: "Fortunately, I got to be on a few film sets as a kid. I was on ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘Absolute Beginners and both of those had big city environments where they actually built streets you could walk around and look in the shops and see things in the windows. And for me, even just building a big chunk of Stormwind as a city and again, having shops, having pubs, that to me is just so much fun. Because that’s the definition of creating your own world. The opportunity to do that is something very special."
The movie is based on the popular video game steeped in fantasy and features war-hungry orcs, wizards and humans and stars Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar, Ben Foster as Medivh, Dominic Cooper as King Llane Wrynn and Toby Kebbell as Orc chieftan Durotan.
It centres on the story of Garona Halforcen, played by Paula Patton, who is a woman whose loyalties are split between the Orcs and people of Azeroth.
