Paul McCartney has ‘fun’ breaking the rules of songwriting

Sir Paul McCartney says he’s still writing songs with the same rule‑dodging, wide‑eyed mischief he had as a teenager.

Joss Stone not ready for children

Joss Stone doesn’t want to have children any time soon.
The 29-year-old singer is very happy with boyfriend Si Chai – who she has been dating for three years – but has no plans to start a family as she "couldn’t do it" right now and she thinks there are already too many people in the world.
Asked if she’s feeling broody, she said: "God no. It’s a beautiful thing if you want kids, but I couldn’t do it right now.
"If and when I want them, great, I’ll go for it. But not now.
"The world is over populated anyway – none of us actually needs to have children."
The ‘Fell In Love With a Boy’ hitmaker hates talking about her relationship but admits the music promoter is very "nice".
She told HELLO! magazine: "I’d rather not talk about it. I always end up saying far too much. I’m terrible.
"In the beginning, no one even knew Si’s name but then I accidentally mentioned him and now… Oh Jesus, it’s just spiralled. But he’s nice. He’s so nice."
And Joss admitted their relationship, like many others in her life, is "fiery" because she likes a "challenge".
She said: "Things are fiery with everyone in my life. But I’m a fire sign. I like things to be exciting and challenging. Without the fire, life would be so boring."
Joss is currently on a world tour and aims to visit every country around the globe, but recently cancelled some dates to return to the UK when one of her dogs fell ill.
She said at the time: "I am very sad to announce that I have to postpone the show in Barbados and also Trinidad and Tobago . Hopefully I will be able to return in time for the gig in Venezuela if all is well.
"Last night my dog Missy got rushed to the vets with internal bleeding, I was told she could have only a few hours to live. Luckily she made it through the night and they are now working hard to find out what is wrong and save her. Missy is the closest thing I have to a child. I know to some that may sound ridiculous but for me it is everything.
"I have to go back and make sure she is ok before I can continue with the tour. (sic)"
