Tom Brady: Gisele Bundchen and I have been through ‘ups and downs’

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have been through "a lot of ups and downs" together.
The 38-year-old sports star – who has been married to the 35-year-old model since 2009 – says their rollercoaster life has helped them build a "stronger" relationship.
He told Access Hollywood: "I’m blessed to find this life partner that we all kind of seek at different times in our life. We found each other at the right time. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs together, and in so many ways, that’s kind of built our relationship so strong."
Meanwhile, Gisele – who has six-year-old Benjamin and Vivian, three, with Tom – previously revealed their marriage had endured some "tough times".
She said: "I think we’ve been through a few tough times together. I think that’s when you know who are your friends and who loves you …
"My father always said the quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships, and I think, no matter how challenging it was, we’ve always been supportive of one another. I think that’s the most important thing you can have in life, you know? A support system and love."
And rumours about the pair’s relationship being on the rocks have been doing the rounds in the past and Tom was forced to insist they were in a "great place".
Speaking at the time, he said: "We’re in a great place. I’ll just say that. I’m a lucky man. I’ve been very blessed with support from my family and certainly her, and there’s no bigger supporter that I have than her and vice versa. I’ve been very blessed to have an incredible relationship with my life partner, and I don’t think anything will ever get in the way of that."
