Lemar to perform with Joss Stone at Barnardo’s charity gig

Lemar will perform with Joss Stone at ‘Barnardo’s Presents: Joss Stone & Friends’ on May 15.
The ‘If There’s Any Justice’ hitmaker has revealed that he will be joining his ‘Someday We’ll Be Together’ collaborator on stage at the charity gig held at London’s Roundhouse.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Joss is playing at the Roundhouse for Barnardo’s on May 15 and she called me up and asked if I can jump on the stage and sing with her there, so I will probably do that."
And asked if he plans on doing a joint tour with the ‘Right to Be Wrong’ singer, he said: "No doubt. If while I am on the road, if there any dates that I have that she is available for, no doubt she will come down and support as well.
"Joss is an old friend. What I like about Joss is that she has a very nice spirit and she’s very earthy. She just rolls with the flow on everything and has such an amazing voice."
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old R&B singer – who is performing at this year’s Cornbury Music Festival among others – would like to do another collaboration and has soul singer John Newman at the top of his wish list as well as Beyonce, who he’s toured with in the past.
He said: "I came across John Newman the other day and I’d like to do something with him. Beyonce, who I’ve been on tour with, it would be great to do something with her as well. We’ll see how the stars align."
