Tom Hiddleston: Trolls have put me off Twitter

Tom Hiddleston says trolls have driven him off Twitter.
The ‘High-Rise’ star did enjoy using the social media website at first but he has been put off it by the insults and abuse hurled his way by other users.
Although Hiddleston does still log on, he doesn’t think that that being surrounded by so much negativity is good for him.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I don’t use it as much as I used to, to be honest there are a few trolls. It’s a distraction, I feel as though the most important thing is my work."
Instead, Hiddleston would rather spend his spare time concentrating on ways to improve his skills as an actor.
Hiddleston thinks surfing the Internet eats up too much of people’s time and he’d rather use his precious spare hours for self-improvement.
He explained: "I would rather think about something with more rigour and nuance and then put it in a piece of work."
Hiddleston is one of the most in-demand actors in the world at present and is being hotly tipped to play James Bond when Daniel Craig takes off 007’s tuxedo for the final time.
The 35-year-old heartthrob feels "very lucky" to do the job he does and to be getting so much work, he just hopes people don’t get sick of him.
He previously said: "I apologise, unreservedly, first of all, for being everywhere. I’m sure it’s deeply tiresome and nobody wants to ever see my face again.
"There’s a strange coincidence in that the work of the last 18 months of my life has all been released at the same time. And for me, each piece of work has such integrity and focus. But it must seem different to be in the audience. I do feel very lucky that I’m allowed to do so many different things."
