Debbie McGee wants to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 57-year-old beauty was left heartbroken earlier this year when her husband Paul Daniels, who competed on the show in 2010, tragically lost his life to a brain tumour and believes the best way to honour his memory is by landing a gig on the programme when it returns for another series later this year.
She explained: "Paul was on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and that’s something I’d just love to do in his memory.
"I’m getting my agent to ring them. I’ve written it on my list of things to get finalised. I would love to do it."
However, the pint-sized star isn’t sure who she will be partnered with if she does manage to creep on to the line-up.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "I’m not sure who they would partner me up with because they keep changing all the professionals. The best choreographer they had was Artem Chigvintsev but he’s gone now."
Debbie was left distraught in March when her husband Paul, whom she was married to for 28 years, sadly passed away after he was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.
