Kate McKinnon joins Scarlett Johansson in Rock That Body

Kate McKinnon is to star with Scarlett Johansson in ‘Rock That Body’.
The ‘Ghostbusters’ actress has been announced to be joining the cast of the movie along with Jillian Bell and Ilana Glazer, following Scarlett’s signing at the end of 2015.
The film’s plot follows five female friends who rent a beach house in Miami for a bachelorette party that results in them accidentally killing a male stripper.
Zoe Kravitz – the daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz – is joining the quartet of actresses, who are believed to be playing the five revellers.
Originally, the film was to be titled ‘Move That Body’ before getting a name change.
Sony is bringing the project to the big screen and the script is being penned by Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello – who work with Glazer on US sitcom ‘Broad City’.
Downs will also appear in the movie and Aniello will direct with shooting scheduled to start in August.
‘Saturday Night Live’ regular McKinnon, 32, has voice parts in ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ and in upcoming Disney/Pixar animated sequel ‘Finding Dory’ and then will appear in one of the year’s most anticipated films, the reboot of the ‘Ghostbusters’ franchise.
Johansson, 31, can currently be seen reprising her role as Black Widow in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and she also has a voice part in ‘The Angry Birds Movie’.
