Kylie Jenner’s Met Gala dress made her bleed.
The 18-year-old reality TV star has admitted her embellished Balmain gown, which she wore to the star-studded event in New York last night (02.05.16), scratched her legs to ribbons, whilst her matching metallic heeled sandals turned her feet purple, although the pain was "worth it".
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star showcased her red carpet wounds on Snapchat, and wrote: "When ur dress made you bleed and ur feet are purple… It was worth it though.(sic)"
Kylie also captioned a close up shot of her face on Instagram with a cryptic caption, which hinted to her wardrobe battle during her first Met Gala event.
She wrote: "Push through @balmain @makeupbyariel @tokyostylez @jenatkinhair (sic)."
However, the wig-loving star – who sported a cropped black do for the occasion – later changed into another design from Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing, which she paired with nude suede-knee high platforms that covered the marks on her shins.
Meanwhile, her half-sister Kim Kardashian West, 35, and husband Kanye West, 38, who also donned the luxury designer brand, were delighted to be singled out as the best dressed couple at the event.
The ‘Bound 2’ rapper tweeted: "I’m really excited to get our first best dressed at the met … This Gala is like the Grammys of style! (sic)."
However, Kanye was mocked by some critics for his more casual look of crystal-embellished denim jacket and shredded jeans, which he wore with blue contact lenses.
