Kasabian to celebrate Leicester City’s season with concert at King Power Stadium

Kasabian are to rock their favourite soccer team Leicester City’s stadium to celebrate the side’s incredible season.
The Foxes are sitting atop the Barclays Premier League and need just three more points to secure the title and cap off a fairytale story.
The ‘Fire’ rockers have announced they will be performing at the stadium in their hometown on May 28 to throw the "ultimate party" for the club’s fans regardless of what happens to mark Claudio Ranieri’s side’s achievement and effort.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury newspaper, guitarist Serge Pizzorno said: "There’s such an energy in the city at the minute. In a way it feels like we’re almost centre of the universe. Everyone is watching. We’ve always wanted to play at the King Power and after this season … we had to do it. No matter how it goes, we’re going to need a place to all stand together and reflect on what’s happened because it is just unbelievable. In the stadium, with us playing our music. There is no better way. We’re so proud."
Tottenham Hotspur can still win the Premier League if they win their three remaining matches and Leicester City with their talisman striker Jamie Vardy fail to secure the points they need.
Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan is "praying" his team can do it and cap off an incredible season.
He said: "It’s been a lot to take in. We’re just praying. I think we’re everyone’s second favourite team in the world. It’s not Barcelona anymore, or Real Madrid. It’s Leicester City. Even Arsenal fans want us to win … I don’t know how I’m going to handle it. My stomach will be churning."
