Marnie Simpson: Geordie Shore will fail without Charlotte Crosby

Marnie Simpson is convinced ‘Geordie Shore’ will turn into a major flop if Charlotte Crosby decides to quit.
The 24-year-old beauty – who joined the programme in 2013 – thinks the reality TV show will crash and burn if the blonde beauty, who has been one of the main cast members since it first hit screens five years ago, turns her back on her roots.
She explained: "I don’t think the show would work without Charlotte. None of us would let that happen. I think ‘Geordie Shore’s her home and I don’t think she’d leave if I’m honest."
The brunette star believes she and her fellow co-stars owe a lot to Charlotte, 25, because the attention she’s brought to the show has also helped them make a name for themselves.
Speaking to Mail Online, she said: "I wouldn’t disagree with people calling it ‘The Charlotte Crosby Show’. She’s always been the star of the show. It sounds unfair to other cast members but she just made such a name for herself. She did amazing things for ‘Geordie Shore’ and all of us as a brand are lucky to have her because she’s good at what she does."
However, although ‘Geordie Shore’ has no problem raking in the viewers at the moment, it seems the end could be in sight if Marnie’s predictions are right as Charlotte recently revealed she’s toying with the idea of quitting the programme for good.
She said: "I feel like I have to move away from ‘Geordie Shore’. I think in time I’m gonna have to move away from the show. I kind of have changed my mind [about staying on the show until it has run its course]. I haven’t made my mind up just yet but I am feeling that way. I don’t know what I would do but [I would love to do a panel show afterwards]."
