Ariana Grande to perfrom at Capital’s Summertime Ball

Ariana Grande, Tinie Tempah, Years & Years and more have been added to Capital’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone.
The ‘Love Me Harder’ hitmaker will also be joined by Lukas Graham, The Vamps and Zara Larsson at the annual music extravaganza held at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 11.
International pop beauty Ariana has teased that she will be performing new songs from her album ‘Dangerous Woman’ at the event.
She said: "I’m really excited to be performing new material and to see my fans. It’s not often I get to perform out here so I’m really excited."
Meanwhile, the night could see Tinie and Zara team up as they share the Vodafone Top 40 hit song ‘Girls Like’.
Tinie is thrilled to be playing and hopes the crowd will go "crazy" for him.
Talking to Capital about performing, he said: "I’m really, really excited … every single time I’ve done it there’s been a moment, a crazy moment. I hope this time won’t be any different and that the crowd will be just as crazy."
And Danish outfit Lukas Graham – whose single ‘7 Years’ has been a hit all over the world – can’t wait to bring their live show to the UK.
They said: "It’s going to be great to play our music live in the UK. We’ve never performed in front of that many people before and we’ve never performed at a Capital Ball before. It’s going to be a tick off the bucket list."
And as well as Years & Years, The Vamps are the final act in today’s (26.04.16) announcement.
The ‘Can We Dance’ hitmaker’s consider the ball one of their "favourite gigs".
They said: "It’s one of our favourite gigs that we’ve ever done… so we’re very excited to be coming back. We gig so much, and it’s not as if we get less nervous for other gigs, but it’s Capital! We put a bit more into it, so we’re very excited."
Acts perviously confirmed to play are Flo Rida, Little Mix, Craig David, Nathan Sykes, Mike Posner and SIgala.
Tickets go on sale at www.capitalfm.com/summertime-ball this Thursday (28.04.16) at 8am
