Blac Chyna’s mom thought proposal was a joke

Blac Chyna’s mother thought Rob Kardashian’s proposal was an April Fool’s joke.
The reclusive sock designer popped the question to the make-up artist at the beginning of this month after just four months of dating and her mom Tokyo Toni – who was present at the time – admits it came as a shock, despite the couple’s closeness.
She said: "The marriage thing was a shock, believe me. They spend every hour together, so they’re already like a married couple.
"But she had never ever mentioned the idea of marriage to me.
"When Rob got down on one knee in front of me and several other people, my eyes nearly popped out of my head and the tears started to come. Chyna cried too.
"I said, ‘Is this an April Fool’s joke?’ "
But Tokyo – whose real name is Shalana Hunter – is thrilled for her daughter.
She added: "I know Chyna is going to be super-famous when she’s married. She’s so happy."
And Tokyo is a big fan of her future son-in-law and much prefers him to Tyga, the father of her grandson King Cairo, three.
She added to heat magazine: "Rob is ‘The One’. He’s not a rapper. He’d not like Tyga.
"He’s more settled, calm and sincere. He’s the attached type and he’s there for Chyna. I prefer Rob."
