Melvin Odoom to compete on Strictly Come Dancing?

Melvin Odoom wants to compete on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 35-year-old presenter – who co-hosted the last series of ‘The Xtra Factor’ with Rochelle Humes – is keen to show off his best dance moves and don a glitzy costume on the BBC contest, but joked he’s so talented, they won’t want him.
He said: "I’d like to do ‘Strictly’. I throw it down. I think the’re missing a trick you know. And I’d get to wear sequins. Everyone is a winner. I’d do it but I don’t think they’re going to want me. It wouldn’t be fair to have such a good dancer on the show."
Though Melvin had a great time on ‘The Xtra Factor’, he doesn’t know if he’ll be back again this year and though he wants to return to the spin-off, he won’t be upset if show chief Simon Cowell doesn’t renew his contract.
He told heat magazine: "When we started doing it, I said to Rochelle that getting to do it for one year is amazing and if they ask you back again it’s a bonus.
"That’s the way you’ve got to look at it. You don’t go into it going, ‘I need to be the presenter forever’. That’s not how you do this game.
"If they ask us back then, yeah, thank God for that."
