Dame Joan Collins: Queen Elizabeth never put a foot wrong

Dame Joan Collins thinks Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has "never ever put a foot wrong".
The 90-year-old monarch is celebrating her birthday in Windsor today (21.04.16) and the ‘Dynasty’ star has praised the royal for her devotion to her country.
Joan, 82, mused: "I think that people are able to see through celebrities, that’s why some of them only have their 15 seconds (of fame). And the reason people love her, is she has been true to herself and been true to not what she was born to become, but had to become when her father died. And that is to tally devote herself to this country. That’s what people see, because she has, and she’s never ever put a foot wrong. Not a foot."
Joan watched the Queen – who was wearing a "spring grass" wool coat by royal stylist Angela Kelly and a matching hat with fresh flowers sewn into the brim – as she greeted crowds outside Windsor Castle today.
The veteran star was joined by royal correspondent and author Robert Hardman, who said it will be a day everybody "remembers".
He told the BBC: "I think we’ll all look back on today and remember we were here. It’s the big international razzmatazz. Royalty is a very human institution, it speaks to our memories. Today is a family occasion."
And ‘Great British Bake Off’ star Nadiya Hussain, who presented the monarch with a three-tier orange drizzle birthday cake,
She gushed: "How often am I going to get to do this? I tried to enjoy every single moment."
After Queen Elizabeth and her husband Duke of Edinburgh unveil The Queens Walkway in Windsor, the monarch will light the principle beacon in Windsor castle and set off a chain of 1000 beacons across the world, before enjoying private celebrations with her family later today.
