Stevi Ritchie is "still" in love with Chloe-Jasmine Whichello.
The 35-year-old entertainer is adamant he and the ‘X Factor’ singer are still very much together but are just taking a short break from their fast-paced romance.
Speaking to The Mirror Online, Stevi said: "We’ve not split, we’re just trying to sort our lives out. We’re still together. Chloe is going to a juice retreat next week, just to sort her head out and get things together. We just have our ups and downs and Chloe has been feeling the pressure too.
"We were putting too much pressure on ourselves and we want to get a house really. We just needed to be honest with ourselves. We still very much love each other."
Stevi believes their long-distance love, which sees Chloe-Jasmine live in Bristol and he in Essex, was starting to put too much pressure on their love and creating arguments.
He explained: "Me and Chloe, we don’t see each other much as it is. We live in totally opposite ends of the country. When we do see each other we can argue. I can say things and she gets upset. We’re both quite insecure people and we can be argumentative and bad tempered. We do have disagreements and we have shouted."
Despite their feisty rows, Stevi hopes the pair, who were set to tie the knot in July, will be able to rekindle their romance once the blonde beauty returns from her retreat.
He said: "I do miss her and I’m hoping to see her when she gets back from a juice retreat. I know we’re still in love and we’re meant to be."
