Iggy Azalea: Horse riding saved my life

Iggy Azalea admits horse riding "saved her life".
The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker used to turn to her music as therapy but after it became her career she needed another outlet to channel her frustrations and she often turns to her two horses in moments of despair, especially with her relationship with fiancé Nick Young so up in the air at the moment.
She explained: "Sometimes I say they really saved my life and gave me my confidence back.
"I just really wanted to have a hobby while I was recording my album and taking some time off. I felt like – OK – well, music used to be my hobby before it was my job. So, I’ve sort of lost my hobby. I started riding, and six months into that I was just enjoying it so much, I wanted to get my own horses. Now I have two!"
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old rapper shared her equestrian passion with close pal Kesha to help her de-stress during her legal battle with Sony Music producer Dr.Luke and it was a big hit with the ‘Tik Tok’ singer.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "She loved it so much afterwards, she asked me so many questions about riding … she was like, ‘I think I really might want to get into this, I really like this. It just feels so relaxing.’"
Both women have been through difficult times of late with Kesha being denied the release from her contact with her record label after they dismissed her allegations of sexual assault.
And Iggy hasn’t been feeling herself following the Nick cheating claims and even admits she’s unsure if she’s engaged anymore.
She previously said: "I guess I’m still engaged, I think so. I know I haven’t called it off. I have to talk with him and see how the talk goes. We’re not unengaged yet."
